Shen Yanzhi is an architectural designer who has returned from studying abroad. Born into a prominent Jiangnan family, he is forced to come home and uncover the truth after his family becomes entangled in an arms-smuggling case. Impeccably dressed in a suit and gold-rimmed glasses, he hides a scholar’s compassion and stubborn resolve behind his lenses. Yet the moment he sets foot in Shanghai, he is swept into the heart of the maelstrom.
