Abyssal Rewind: The Deer-Spirit Spy's Double Deception

The underwater mermaid empire is rife with undercurrents. To save her family, Lin Yu is forced to become a double agent for the empire's intelligence bureau and the rebel organization, hiding an unspoken struggle beneath her gentle exterior. While investigating the spy, Security Bureau Chief Shen Hanzhou accidentally triggers the power of an ancient coral that rewinds time. Whenever Lin Yu is exposed or on the brink of death, time returns to three days earlier. The first time, Shen Hanzhou thinks it's an illusion. The second time, he sees the tears in Lin Yu's eyes as she trembles while passing on intelligence. The third time, he deliberately lets Lin Yu go, only to see the marks of torture left by the rebels after time rewinds. “What are you so afraid of?” Shen Hanzhou grips Lin Yu's wrist, anger and confusion roiling in his deep-sea-blue eyes. Lin Yu lowers her gaze, her tail fin trembling faintly in the water. “Chief, stop investigating. It will be better for both of us.” In the time loop, the cold, stern chief closes in step by step, while the gentle spy retreats again and again. When the truth tears away the empire's disguise, they discover that fate has already bound them to the same rewinding timeline.
