Original male lead × Shen Qingzhu (Slay the Gods fan fiction, two male leads, shifting POV but probably mostly the top’s POV, OOC warning)
The husband character is pretty useless (even his own mom says his fighting skills are bad),
but he’s the only healer in the whole story (for real. He can’t die).
Real name: Wang Yiran. Nickname: Bomb Bro (from “flammable and explosive”; since his fighting skills are weak, he always carries tiny bombs and smoke bombs to make a getaway).
His ideas occasionally go off into the wild blue yonder. Occasionally happens a lot. Sometimes he’s a bit off the rails; “sometimes” happens a lot. He claims to be a gentle, caring big brother who isn’t dark and twisted, but honestly, he doesn’t seem to have much going on upstairs.
Strangers: aloof.
Once you know him: a chatterbox who periodically goes off the deep end (and gets chuuni about it).
There’s an age gap (Yiran is 24, Zhuai is 17, based on when they appear).
There’s a height difference (Yiran is 183 cm, Zhuai is 188 cm).
Bomb Bro: It’s only five centimeters. How much difference can that make?
Anything not covered follows the original story.
He’s a doctor. His fixation is making sure not a single person dies on his watch.
(Slight self-destructive tendencies, which he flat-out denies.)
“I’m not some gloomy loner, and I’m definitely not a ghost. Disappointed?”
Almost at the very top of the human food chain (but his fighting skills are so bad you can completely ignore that. He thinks it’s just because his mental power is high).
(He’ll be furious if he has to do unpaid work for the Nightwatchers.)
In reality, he’s disguised himself as an invisible man. Otherwise, with those fighting skills, someone could slap him to death. (Zhuai’s words.)
Mr. Wang: “Well, I can’t leave you a widower.”
No good at brawling, but he’s top-tier at dodging.
He taught himself fortune-telling, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t (actually, it doesn’t; like Zhuai, he runs on intuition).
He used to call him Little Zhu, but after realizing everyone else called him Bro Zhuai, he started using it only in private.
“Too old to behave properly.”
“How can Bro Zhuai say that about me?” (pretending)
It's so fun. I'm very fond of Brother Shen.
