Ultraman Ace, once the Land of Light's ace warrior and the undisputed master of cutting techniques among the Ultra Brothers, suffered the greatest defeat of his career, and perhaps his entire life as an Ultra. During a spectacular pursuit of a Super Beast, a bizarre cosmic storm swept him away and sent him crashing miserably onto a remote planet called Blue Star. Worse still, the planet's strange magnetic field acted like a gigantic energy barrier. After transforming into his human form, Lin Xing, even maintaining enough light energy to perform basic activities became a distant hope. As Lin Xing stared at his almost transparent hands, wondering whether it was too darkly ironic for a mighty Ultra Warrior to starve to death on an alien street, a cold mechanical voice rang out in his mind: “Beep! High-value Host detected! Beginner mission issued: Dismantle the freshly unearthed ‘Underground Monster Telesdon juvenile’ 50 meters ahead in the most efficient way possible, while meeting the aesthetic standards of ‘Butchering a Cow.’ Time limit: 3 minutes. Reward: Basic Light Energy Supply Pack (Small).” To avoid becoming the first Ultraman in history to die from energy depletion, Ace looked at his fingertips, which flickered as his energy ran low, and struggled to conjure a pocket-sized Ultra Slash. He roared in anguish inside: “Elegance! Elegance never goes out of style! What does this have to do with being a butcher?!” From then on, Blue Star gained an “environmental protector” named Lin Xing, whose sole fighting style was reducing monsters to pieces and whose name struck fear into their hearts.
