Journey to the West: The Buddha Asked Me to Fill In

The pilgrimage was complete, and the five sages attained enlightenment. However, the Lingshan Board of Directors discovered that the “sutras without words” brought back by Tang Sanzang and his disciples, due to their purely conceptual nature, had overloaded the Three Realms’ faith data processing System (abbreviated as: Samsara), causing bugs to crop up constantly. To solve this technical problem, the Buddha made a temporary decision to establish the “Three Realms Samsara Office” and personally appointed Tang Sanzang, the former pilgrimage team’s project manager, who was proficient in the “Many Hearts Sutra” algorithm and had connections with all the major factions (the Heavenly Court, Daoism, the dragon race, and the demon realm), as its first director. Thus, Jin Chanzi began his daily routine of signing off on documents (ordination certificates), coordinating resources (immortal pills and mounts), handling sudden malfunctions (demons disrupting samsara), and dealing with “friendly requests” from various factions. Wukong said, “Master, this is way harder than fighting monsters!”
