The Unorthodox Pokémon Trainer

Pokemon fanfic, livestreaming, tactical battles, lighthearted daily life, sweet character growth, humor, paired with Iono.

Yun Li transmigrated, and even became a Pokemon creator on Bilibili.

He woke up to find that his university had become a Pokemon academy, and that the wildly popular game Pokemon Battle was made by the Hoenn-based Devon Corporation. Meanwhile, his mind was stuffed with all the flashy, underhanded tactics from his previous life!

He started streaming right away, bringing out a Substitute-and-Toxic strategy from the start and wearing his opponent down until they were driven to despair.

"What the hell? What kind of disgusting strategy is that?!" The chat exploded!

"UP, are you a freaking demon?! Ban this rat bastard already!" The whole internet was stunned!

"We've got a tactical genius here bullying newbies!"

Then came the Minimize team, the Trick Room team, the Rain team, the Sandstorm team. Extreme tactics no one had ever heard of appeared one after another, and he turned one unremarkable Pokemon after another into grim reapers on the battlefield! From an obscure Bilibili creator to a tactical genius, from online games to real battles, Yun Li broke convention and set trends with his shameless strategies.

He insisted, "I never wanted to be a Trainer. I just wanted to bring all those overlooked strategies back into the spotlight!"
