She’s More Addictive Than Cigarettes

(Don't scroll past! If this showed up for you, it's fate~) [College campus + both leads' first love + slightly silly + ensemble cast + one-sided salvation] [Soft, timid foodie sweetheart + handsome bad boy with a tender heart] Lin Ran is a college student who's flat broke and has no idea how to deal with life. She really wants to date a rich guy, then have his mother throw a million at her and tell her to get lost. One day, her roommates bring up Jiang Yunheng, the notorious playboy of Jingbei: The heir to the most powerful wealthy family in Jing City, born into privilege, wild and carefree, and blessed with a gorgeous face. Yet he never sleeps around or gives his heart away. They say he changes girlfriends like clothes, but he's always generous when they break up: every one of them gets three million as a parting gift. Her eyes light up. Isn't this the perfect opportunity? All she wants is a three-million breakup settlement, but he keeps flirting with her every day, making her breakup plans fall through again and again. "Let me hear you call me your boyfriend." "I like you. I really like you." "Isn't it obvious how much I want you?" Then one day, the campus belle shoves a recording in front of her. His nonchalant voice plays from it: "I was just looking for a bit of fun." That night, she blocks him everywhere and breaks up with him. But as soon as she leaves the art studio, he grabs her and pins her against the wall. His eyes are bloodshot, his voice hoarse, as he asks her with anger and desperation, "Could you love me, just once?" "I'm clean. I've only held your hand and kissed you." "Please don't leave me, okay?" [The romance moves at a brisk pace] His perspective: [Reunion after a long separation] Her perspective: [Love at first sight + dating before falling in love]
