College student Lin Tian woke up one day in a panic to find that he had turned into Daji, the bewitching fox girl from Honor of Kings!
It wasn’t a hallucination. It was only the beginning of his nightmare.
From that day on, at midnight every day, he would randomly transform into a different hero: perhaps Li Bai, whose sword aura swept through the world, perhaps the adorable Mengqi, or even a nonhuman demon creature.
The heroes’ powers and fragments of their memories poured into him, bringing endless trouble in their wake: hiding his strange condition, dealing with crises, and evading the prying eyes of various factions.
As the barriers between the real world and the Continent of Kings gradually dissolved, demon creatures descended and anomalies became commonplace.
Lin Tian was dragged into the maelstrom of the two worlds colliding.
From his initial panic and wisecracks, he gradually grew more composed, using a different hero’s power each day to navigate between the various factions and investigate the source of his transformations.
This apocalyptic carnival of endless transformations set him on the King’s Path, where the fate of the world would be decided.
Would he become a savior, or a monster beyond control?
The wheel of fate spins every day.
