Do I Really Have to Catch This Ghost???

Lin Feng is a sophomore and a shut-in. His life motto is, "Keep your head down and don't make waves."

One day, a gaming friend sends him a creepy link: Netherworld Office: Simulator. He reluctantly plays for a while, learns [Beginner's Spirit-Sight], and scoffs, "What kind of lousy browser game is this?"

Unable to sleep late that night, he figures he might as well try it and makes a few gestures on the balcony. He opens his eyes, but sees nothing. "What a scam."

The next day in class, his classmates are talking about ghost stories. Forced to play along, Lin Feng tries his "trick" again to bluff his way through. But when he opens his eyes this time, he clearly sees an ominous black cloud hovering above the campus beauty, Su Wan!

Just then, the lousy game automatically pops up a quest: [Daily Quest: Soothe the Bound Spirit of the Old Professor in the Library. Reward: Mind-Cleansing Mantra]...

From then on, he's forced down a miserable path of learning skills in a game and actually catching ghosts in real life.

"I just want to quietly be a shut-in. Is this lousy game really going to make me do this?!"
