One Piece: The Bartolomeo Chronicles

I am Bartolomeo, a villain who crawled out of hell.

To survive, I burned, murdered, robbed, and committed every kind of atrocity, earning the vile name “Cannibal.”

I thought my world would remain shrouded in darkness forever, until a ray of light shone into it.

I scoffed. Just another naive fool.

But as I followed his footsteps, my long-frozen heart began to thaw.

He would defy the world for a companion he’d just met.

He would ring the Golden Bell for the sake of a promise.

He would burst into laughter even in the face of certain defeat.

Then came the Paramount War. I watched with my own eyes as that small figure charged fearlessly at the World's Strongest to save his brother.

In that moment, I wept like rain.

So this is what a true strong man is! This is what a true pirate is!

“Boss, are we… still going to fight over territory?” one of my men asked cautiously.

I wiped away my tears and kicked over the bloodstained throne that symbolized my former status.

“Fight over territory? Hell no! From today on, the Barto Club has only one goal!”

“Set sail! Go to sea! Follow in the footsteps of Senior Luffy!”
