Run Wild! Against the Light

Lin Zhixia is the steel mill’s gentlest secret. Like a ray of light, he blundered into Jiang Cheng and Gu Fei’s world, but never intended to stay. He never said he loved them; he only sketched their profiles on paper. He didn’t dare draw near, yet held an umbrella over Gu Fei on a stormy night. He knew he wasn’t the answer, only a footnote in their youth. But no one told him that even light can hurt when it falls on you. This is a story of secret love, companionship, and making peace with yourself. No one confesses. No one leaves. Three boys, among the ruins of the steel mill and in the glow of the backlight, quietly tuck each other into the softest corner of their lives. > “I never meant to step into your story. > It just so happened that the light fell on me.”
