Unlucky Lin Ling has just lost her job, and before she can even recover from the shock, a weasel spirit tries to scam her in a dream?
Like she'd put up with that!
Lin Ling immediately beats it senseless with a slipper!
The Weasel Immortal sobs, "Please stop, ma'am! I'll work for you, all right? We'll split the merit points seventy-thirty in your favor!"
And so her "Merit Hall" is forced to open for business.
It has just three rules: Don't cheat people, obey orders and work hard, and distribute merit according to contribution!
From then on, resentful spirits and evil ghosts become her KPIs. She sends unscrupulous bosses to jail, while her fellow practitioners in the occult world work themselves to tears trying to keep up.
Her coworkers and employees do have a few issues, though:
The fox demon director is moody and keeps trying to overstep her authority.
The Underworld's shareholder is taciturn and only ever sends money in secret.
The handsome guy from the righteous path spends all day chasing her and yelling, "Demon, stop right there!"
Lin Ling: "I'm warning you all, stay away from me! I'm a career woman!!!"
