The Story of an Ordinary Soul Master from the Bottom Rung

When I was a kid, I watched Tang San and the others power their way to godhood in just twenty years. Then I thought about all the ordinary Soul Masters whose lack of talent meant they could never break through, no matter how long they lived. They didn't have the luck or talent of the protagonist's crew, but they still had things they were determined to hold on to. That's why I want to see this world through the eyes of Su Yuntao, an ordinary low-ranking Soul Master in Spirit Hall, and find out what life is like for Soul Masters without talent, immortal herbs, or help from the protagonists.
