First I Pursued Him, Then I Fell for Him: CEO Li's Long-Laid Plan

Lin Zhiwei is set up by her boss and drugged at a business dinner, where she is meant to serve as a bargaining chip to curry favor with a potential partner. Realizing something is wrong, she desperately tries to escape. In her panic, she accidentally runs into Li Mohan at the elevator: the icy, imposing head of the Li family, who commands a business empire. After their reckless night together, Lin Zhiwei flees in a panic. Looking at the vivid red stain on the bed, Li Mohan smiles faintly. “Trying to run? Not so easily.” That same night, he saves her again when she’s in danger, then declares firmly, “You’re going to take responsibility for what happened last night.” Lin Zhiwei thinks one meal will settle everything between them, but she never expects him to cling to her from then on. When her father falls seriously ill, he pays for all his treatment. When someone bullies her, he stands up for her. At last, she can’t help asking, “Why are you so good to me?” His eyes are full of long-hidden tenderness as he confesses softly, “Because I love you.” Ever since the first time they met, she had become an obsession lodged deep in his heart. All his special treatment and protection were part of a long-planned pursuit.
