Gensokyo, MC
The Builder’s Gensokyo Journal
An MC player stumbles into a magical forest? The survival challenge starts with punching trees by hand!
“Spawning deep in the forest? My luck is terrible!”
Watanabe Akira, an ancient builder obsessed with machinery and construction, woke up in a magical otherworld.
Trees towered into the clouds, fairies ruled the skies, and he himself...
Could chop down trees with three bare-handed punches, craft a workbench out of thin air, and only dropped his equipment when he died.
Magic? Sorcery? Making a bed comes first!
But the residents of Gensokyo seemed very interested in his “skills”:
A tengu reporter who loved gossip, a cool and cocky lake fairy, a witch who controlled dolls...
Even the girl who ran the old bookshop in the human village tugged at his sleeve and cried:
“Money? How tacky! Do that thing again, the one where you pull rocks out of thin air!”
A Tinkers’ Construct smeltery in his left hand, a Pam’s HarvestCraft cooking pot in his right;
Farming and mining by day, dodging the witch’s curious observation by night.
While everyone else was still studying magic incantations, he was already wondering:
“How can I use redstone circuits to fool the tengu patrols?”
This is a curious tale of blocks, crafting, and an endlessly reborn man who insists on building infrastructure, developing industry, and cooking (but absolutely refuses to use magic) in a Gensokyo full of magic and trouble!
“I’m not a magician. I just know a little about... the rules.”
Watanabe Akira, explaining earnestly as he crafts an iron sword.
[This is a Touhou fanfiction, and may contain OOC characterization. Please forgive any inconsistencies.]
It's not bad, but many parts of MC have been cut. For example, it takes two weeks for farming to mature, and torches will go out.
A very good book, not so much fighting and killing, suitable for retirement reading [full]
