Warm Light Through Broken Porcelain

Li Siheng was a cold, decisive man at the summit of a business empire, holding countless lives in his hands. His life ran with the precision of a finely engineered machine, until the one and only “light” in his life, the peerless one-of-a-kind Moonshadow Cup left behind by his mother, shattered before his eyes.

When even the world’s top restoration experts were at a loss, a name from the streets reached his ears: “Qingshan.”

Chu Wanning was Qingshan, and a young restorer of antiques. Her hands could make the broken whole again, and her keen heart could not be swayed by power. She kept to the old-fashioned studio Jiansuzhai, surrounded by fragments of broken porcelain, patiently smoothing away the cracks left by time.

When they first met, he arrived with overwhelming force, convinced that money and power could buy anything.

She merely glanced at him, brushing a slender hand across a shard of porcelain. “Mr. Li, all things have a spirit, and I treat only those who come with sincerity. Your Moonshadow Cup is sick at heart. I can’t heal it.”

He laid a meticulous trap, advancing step by step, determined to keep the one woman who could repair his “weak spot” by his side.

He thought he was the hunter in control of everything. He didn’t know that as he watched the shards beneath her fingertips gradually join together, his own long-shattered, frozen heart was also being mended and warmed, little by little, by that gentle yet steadfast light.
