The CEO’s Personal Perfumer

Shen Yechen, heir to the powerful Shen family of Yuncheng, is devastatingly handsome and commands immense influence. Yet a secret is driving him to the brink of madness: he suffers from severe insomnia and is haunted every night by the same nightmare. No renowned doctor can help him, and no amount of money can buy relief, until at an auction he catches a faint fragrance that seems familiar.

The scent comes from a woman named Su Muge.

She is the secluded inheritor of an ancient perfumery tradition. With her delicate hands, she can blend every fragrance in the world and soothe even the most restless soul. Calm and unassuming, she wants only to tend her little perfume shop and stay out of the world’s affairs.

With an exorbitantly expensive contract, he keeps her by his side, hoping only for a night of peaceful sleep.

“Become my personal perfumer, and I’ll give you everything you want.”

“Mr. Shen, fragrance can soothe the mind, but it can’t buy someone’s heart.”

He thinks all he wants is her fragrance, but before he knows it, he has grown infatuated with her. The scent lingering at the tip of his nose has quietly woven itself into a net of love, binding him fast.

When the fragrance awakens long-buried memories, a conspiracy spanning two generations comes to light. Their meeting was no accident, but a fate that had been unfolding across time.

Can he, this time, find more than peaceful sleep in the fragrance she creates, and hold her in his arms?
