Making Up a Resume on the Immortal Execution Platform: The Beloved Disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun

Yang Fawen, a young Daoist at the Foundation Establishment stage, accidentally triggered an ascension passage while meditating. The moment he arrived in the Heavenly Court, he was dragged onto the Execution Platform for Immortals, simply because his cultivation was too low to set foot in the Immortal Court!

Just as the blade fell, the “Life Record Editing System” awakened:

“Edit life record: I am Yuanshi Tianzun’s personal disciple!”

The next moment, golden light pierced the clouds. Yuanshi Tianzun arrived on an auspicious cloud, and one question, “My disciple, who dares touch him?” sent every immortal official in the court to their knees!

The System itself wasn’t powerful, but it could defy fate through “logical consistency”:

He made up a story about “helping Nezha repair his lotus body.” The Lotus Boy lowered his blade on the spot and became his informant in the Heavenly Court.

He claimed he had “pointed out a flaw while Yang Jian was practicing the Nine-Turn Profound Art.” The True Lord of Guanjiangkou set aside his pride and agreed to join him against Mount Ling.

He invented a story about “studying the Scripture of Slaying Demons and Protecting the Dao under Yuanshi.” Sun Wukong slapped his thigh and declared, “This little liar has guts!” From then on, the journey west had another powerful ally.

But the System had its drawbacks, and every edit came with consequences:

A single edit could bring anything from a headache and a drop in cultivation to being detected by a quasi-sage of Mount Ling.

Making up a story about “befriending demons” left a stain on his record, while claiming he had “stolen a Heavenly Court treasure” brought real pursuers after him.

Even his mortal master, Xu Faxing, a clone of Celestial Master Xu, got dragged into the mess. The Buddha’s light from Mount Ling was already shining toward the Zhengyi Jingming Sect!

With the System in hand, Yang Fawen used his left hand to draw healing talismans and save the people, and his right to invent life records that could save his skin as he fought the Buddhas:

“I don’t have Yang Jian’s Heaven and Earth Manifestation, or Wukong’s Golden Cudgel, but I can invent a life record that all three realms will believe in and turn this dark myth upside down!”

Yuanshi Tianzun was baffled: “When did I get a disciple like this?”

Celestial Master Xu laughed: “That kid invents life records without even drafting them first!”
