King Qin Cracks the Whip: Ruling the World with Force

Duke Xiao of Qin relied on the natural defenses of the Xiao and Han passes and held the land of Yongzhou. The ruler and his ministers guarded their territory while eyeing the Zhou court, intent on sweeping across the world, encompassing all within its borders, and swallowing up the four seas. They were determined to conquer every corner of the realm. At the time, Shang Yang assisted him, establishing laws at home, promoting farming and weaving, and improving the tools of defense and war. Abroad, he forged alliances and set the other lords against one another. Thus, the people of Qin took the lands west of the Yellow River with ease.

He woke up ravenous. Born with extraordinary strength, he stood out from the crowd, wielded his sword, and made a name for himself. A brilliant mind emerged from the ranks of the two first-rate universities. It turned out he was an imperial heir banished to the countryside, who reclaimed his birthright and fought for his sovereign father. As brothers fought one another, he distinguished himself, using alliances and divide-and-conquer tactics, befriending distant powers while attacking nearby ones, and conquering the lands and peoples of the Nine Provinces. In this alternate Qin, he would swallow up every corner of the realm.
