An Alien Spaceship Brought Me to the Years Before the First Sino-Japanese War

The nation of Akalijian announced military exercises in international waters off Longguo's southern border. This unusual move immediately drew the world's attention. Longguo's agents discovered that they were trying to blockade an unnamed island. It seemed they'd found something there. Cai Kai was one of the most elite special forces soldiers in Longguo's Southern Theater Command. He and his team were secretly sent to infiltrate the island and find out exactly what Akalijian had discovered there. When they reached the island, one of the team members' carelessness exposed them. To avoid unnecessary casualties, Cai Kai ordered his team to retreat. He stayed behind to complete the mission, killing two soldiers before slipping into a cave. Inside, he found the target of their mission: an alien spacecraft. Just then, Akalijian's soldiers were also heading for the cave. Faced with dozens of heavily armed men, Cai Kai knew he might not make it out alive. He hurriedly took out the equipment he'd prepared beforehand and used a satellite link to send the situation back to headquarters. Just when he thought he was doomed, the stone he'd picked up during his previous mission suddenly resonated with the spacecraft, and he was pulled inside. The spacecraft was low on power. As its artificial intelligence opened a black hole to take Cai Kai away, a temporal turbulence occurred, carrying him and the spacecraft back to the year before the First Sino-Japanese War, 1890. And so our story begins.
