Mortal, Martial Ancestor

The immortal path endures, treating all things as mere straw dogs. Mortals are stubborn, determined to shake the gates of immortality with sheer strength!

Qiu Xiaofan rose to supremacy among mortals and attained sainthood through martial arts. But after angrily killing an immortal's disciple, he drew the attention of true immortal powers. In the blink of an eye, his life's work was reduced to dust, his beloved turned to dry bones, and his brothers fell in a pool of blood. He had the power to shake mountains, yet couldn't even touch the hem of his enemy's robe. Only then did he realize that two hundred years spent perfecting martial arts had been nothing more than a mortal's dream.

Was the difference between mortals and immortals truly as vast as the gap between heaven and earth?

He refused to believe it! Carrying a fragment of the power source that held an ancient mystery, he concealed his identity and infiltrated a place where people cultivated immortality and refined their qi. He forged an indestructible body within the Vajra Sect, grasped the truths of alchemy in the Shennong Pavilion, and forged weapons capable of slaying immortals in the Tiangong Bureau! From then on, the will of a martial cultivator and the supernatural powers of an immortal cultivator blended perfectly within him, allowing him to walk a path never before seen: the path of proving the Dao through martial arts!

At the peak of the lower realm, he subdued the Ice Immortal with his fists and settled his worldly ties. Above the myriad heavens, he fought the myriad Dao Divine Court and faced the giants of the starry sky. There were also the mysteries surrounding the past of his cold, dazzling former lover and his cheerful junior sister, as well as the astounding immortal opportunities brought by his fat brother, with fortune and disaster intertwined...

It all began with a mortal, and would ultimately make him the ancestor of all martial arts.

When he stood at the summit of the myriad heavens and looked back, he realized that at the end of the immortal path, everyone was a mortal after all.
