War of Resistance: This Rabble of Routed Soldiers Is Too Fierce!

Synopsis of The Resistance War: These Routed Soldiers Are Fierce! Amid the smoke of the Battle of Xuzhou, waves of fleeing soldiers scatter like strays, Japanese boots trample the land, and civilians cry out in misery. Lin Rui, a battle-hardened veteran who transmigrated here, watches his comrades shoot themselves and children lie dead in the streets. In a fury, he draws his sword: “No more running! Today, we fight the Japanese to the death!” No reinforcements will come from the heavens. All they have are routed soldiers who refuse to give up. Using “steal Japanese supplies to survive” as bait, Lin Rui gathers 300 remnants and uses modern tactics to ambush a supply convoy, wiping out the enemy and capturing machine guns in their first battle. He cleans out deserters and executes traitors, enforcing his rules with blood. He establishes a base and organizes militias, turning the “Iron-Blooded Anti-Japanese Brigade” into a thorn in the Japanese army's side. He blows up city gates, captures county seats, and shoots down enemy planes, leading a ragtag band of fugitives to become a thousand-strong independent brigade. He stands firm against Japanese regiments during anti-encirclement campaigns, races a thousand miles to aid allied forces, raids airfields, kills senior officers, and intercepts grain ships on the Grand Canal. In the Yuxianggui Campaign, he even takes on an elite Japanese division head-on, earning the rank of major general through his battle record. From 300 remnants to an iron-blooded division of 20,000, from a mountain ravine to commander-in-chief of the North China Anti-Japanese Allied Forces, Lin Rui leads these soldiers who are “the least like a regular army.” They pierce the fog of fear with their bayonets and blast open the road to victory with artillery fire. No way out? Then we'll turn Japanese territory into our way out! This is the comeback of a band of routed soldiers, and a legendary tale of resistance forged in blood and fire!
