Bloodsea Sword Soul is a wuxia tale of blood vengeance, growth, and devoted love. In a single night, the famous Flowing Cloud Sword Manor is massacred, with only its ten-year-old heir, Lin Ji, surviving. He is rescued by the mysterious physician Old Mo. After eight years of secluded training, he masters the peerless sword manual, the Formless Sword Sutra. Bearing a deep blood feud, Lin Ji enters a perilous martial world. His only clues are a pair of black brocade boots embroidered with strange silver patterns, and a token engraved with the character “Heaven,” both preserved in his memories.
His path to vengeance is riddled with deadly traps. Wielding his cold sword alone, he becomes caught in an even greater vortex after helping Su Wanqing, a beautiful and refined woman being hunted. Her family's secret seems to be deeply entwined with the massacre of his family. As the cold-blooded avenger and the gentle yet steadfast woman grow closer through suspicion, testing one another, and fighting side by side, feelings quietly take root.
Yet the mastermind, the vast and inscrutable organization known as the Celestial Pivot, has plotted far into the future. Turmoil stirs once more in the martial world, and a storm of bloodshed is approaching. Can Lin Ji unravel the ultimate secret of the Formless Sword Sutra and use his sword to break the cycle of grudges and revenge? What trials will his relationship with Su Wanqing face as the conspiracy closes in? When the cruel truth is finally revealed, will he sink into the abyss of vengeance, or stay true to his swordsmanship and his sense of honor? This is a path of revenge paved with blood, yet reaching for the light.
