The Library of Ten Thousand Volumes: Mending the Way of Heaven with the Written Word

Lu Qingjian, an apprentice at a declining calligraphy and painting shop, is born with a "Heart of Empathy" that lets him connect with all things. Chosen by the mysterious Myriad Scrolls Library, he becomes a "Keeper of the Pen," tasked with mending fate.

He wields brush and ink as a blade, and emotion as his strength. From secret realms of fox spirits in the style of the Tang Dynasty to wastelands teeming with strange beasts from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, from feuds in ink-wash martial worlds to the mysteries of a lost ancient kingdom, he travels through realms where Eastern fantasy intertwines with folklore, battling a mysterious force that seeks to make every story end in "the Final End."

But why was the library damaged? What truth lies behind the "Servants of the Final End"?

This is an endless journey fueled by emotion and lit by brush and ink. The pages are what he mends, but it is people's hearts he saves, and storytelling itself that he protects.
