This is an adventure story about a group of young people who happen to gain extraordinary powers.
It also bears witness to the bizarre lives of those who wield stand-ins.
A train of farewells pulls out, bound for its predetermined destination;
A warrior in old age picks up the pride of his youth;
A child who lost their way makes the journey from below zero back to zero;
A proud smile reveals a sincere heart reserved only for companions;
An outlaw beyond the law gazes coldly at ordinary life;
And finally, two groups of people reflect on it all.
The same emotions, shaped by different circumstances, give rise to stand-ins that are alike, yet distinct.
These stories, whether good or bad, kind or evil, despicable or heroic, should they all be part of a grand, false performance?
Should they become what is called a:
"Dream of Civilization"?
This story is not set in the world of JOJO. It is an entirely original tale that simply borrows the concept of "stand-ins."
However, in this story's setting, the JOJO's Bizarre Adventure series exists as a work of fiction.
All stand-ins are original, though some of their names and traits are inspired by... well, the tanks in WOT/WOTB...
This book is just for fun. If you enjoy it, leave a comment or two.
I still write it for myself🤦Forget it, just write it for fun. The novel is inspired by the renovation of Guangzhou's old railway station, the Gezhouba Project and the abandonment of Factory 330. Originally, I wanted to use a song I listened to as my stand-in name, but I couldn't think of any ideas after looking at the song title, so I simply used something more familiar to me🤦 The reason why I use the image of "stand-in" is because if it is simply set to awaken superpowers, it will fall into a strange cycle of "provoking the official - joining the official", which is very different from what I want to write. I can't stand it anymore. Why did I choose such a Thunder book title and vote for such a Thunder division? Now I can't change it, it's just ruined.
Say okay, you didn't put the buddy in the book. It's not okay, you didn't write the buddy in the book. If it were written into it, I don't know if it would be Zhuang Zeming, Liang Dingfang or Pétain Gascon 🙂 I guess it would be fatal after all, after all, you wrote down all the buddies around you in the last book. Those who were pinched to death, those who were beaten to death, those who bled excessively... You are really deadly [you taste carefully]
