A modern young man, Lin Pan, nicknamed Lin Pang, wakes up to discover that he's become the Host of a mysterious "Myriad Worlds Connected Livestream System." Before he can figure out what's going on, he's pulled into a livestream. On the other side is the Taiji Palace during the Zhenguan era, with Tang Emperor Li Shimin and his utterly bewildered court as the audience!
At the same time, Li Shimin, who has been worrying about the people's hardships, is also struck by a System from the heavens. A screen before his eyes reveals the prosperity and wonders of the world a thousand years in the future.
The two stare at each other, and their cross-temporal connection succeeds!
Li Shimin: "Is this an immortal art? The later generations are so prosperous? Seeds that yield a thousand jin per mu, magical devices that carry voices a thousand li (phones), iron steeds that travel a thousand li in a day (cars)... I want them all!"
Lin Pang: "Wait! Your Majesty, you can have them, but... you'll have to pay! No, I mean, send a tip! Gold, jewels, antiques, whatever you've got. Even the rockets and yachts viewers send will do!"
And so begins a livestream unlike any other:
* Li Shimin becomes the ultimate livestream sales host, using modern supplies to transform the Tang Dynasty at breakneck speed: cement roads, electric lights, tractors... Even the walkie-talkies provided by sponsors become battlefield marvels, and instant noodles can be traded for fine Turkic horses!
* Lin Pang becomes the Tang court's official livestream consultant, wielding power across the court, marrying a princess (Changle), taking a talented beauty as a concubine (Wu Mei), and becoming Prince of Yan. He also livestreams the poet Li Bai composing a poem on the spot, Yuan Tiangang telling fortunes online, and Cheng Yaojin hilariously working the fields.
This is a revolution across time, sparked by livestreaming! Watch Li Shimin exchange tips for future technology, sweep across the world, and establish an eternal Tang empire. Watch Lin Pang make his way through the court and the martial world, winning both love and success. Witness the sparks that fly when the past and present collide.
