“I’ll plant azaleas, and make my way through the years to return.”
Cen Zhaoyang, crown princess of the fallen state of Yingshan, seized power from her father and avenged her mother. With her entire clan at her side, she ascended to the throne as the Heavenly Sovereign.
From escaping captivity after defeat to restoring her country and claiming the realm, every step along her long climb was paid for in blood.
Yet the higher she rose, the lonelier she became. As day gave way to night and back again, she felt that she had still lost too much.
