Dreams in Shimmering Light

In Xinhai City in 2242, memories are a commodity that can be woven. People buy happiness and sell pain, living in peace amid artificially perfected recollections.

Ling Yan is the city's finest memory weaver. With a surgeon's precision and an artist's compassion, he ventures into the deepest, most private recesses of other people's memories. He can soothe any trauma, erase every blemish, and weave clients a flawless past. He believes himself a creator of forgetting and a guardian of order, until one rainy night, deep inside the memories of a powerful client, he accidentally touches a "ghost memory" that should not exist: a pair of eyes shattered by despair, and a glass-blue cufflink that symbolizes death.

The moment strikes like lightning, splitting open a reality built on the illusion of peace.

To uncover the truth behind this fragment of memory, Ling Yan embarks on a road from which there is no turning back. Forced to become a pawn in the game, he is no longer a mere observer. The world built on lies begins to crumble, and forgotten evils stir in the shadows. He discovers that what he seeks is not only the truth behind a stranger's death, but also the immense secret concealed behind his own hazy childhood memories.

In this frigid metropolis of data and neon, the only things he can trust are the memories the world has forgotten.
