The Infinite Merchant’s Road

When the blade of betrayal sent me plunging from the clouds to the depths, I thought my life was over.

Then, in a rented room of less than ten square meters, I received a job offer from across the sea of stars.

[Myriad Worlds Commerce Alliance], a commercial empire spanning infinite universes, had chosen me to be its “interplanar trader.”

My battlefield was no longer stock charts and data models, but real, otherworldly realms. My clients might be mages who command thunder, or ancient gods who devour stars. My merchandise might be as small as a bottle of soda or as vast as the future of an entire civilization.

Here, magic is “patented technology” that must be unlocked with payment, deities are “promising stocks” awaiting investment and a public listing, and war is a “venture investment” with steep costs but generous returns.

There are no eternal enemies, only eternal interests.

My name is Ling Xiu, a financial analyst abandoned by the world.

My job is to put a price on everything, including gods and demons.
