This is the second volume of The Great Ming: The Loyal and Brave Marquis! It picks up where the first volume left off. The first volume ended on a cliffhanger, with the Qing moving its capital and withdrawing as a nation. The Ming army had reclaimed Liaodong, but failed to crush the Qing’s core forces, which were bound to become a threat later.
The Ming court may seem to have settled down internally, but it still faces plenty of problems. Beyond its borders, the Mongols roam the grasslands; beyond Tieling, a Qing banner army remains; and along the northeastern frontier in Liaodong, the red-haired foreigners continue to make trouble. Though these forces have suffered setbacks for now, their appetite for attack has never changed.
Joseon, once a vassal state, has now become a fully fledged enemy. The Ming Empire may be gradually stabilizing at home, but in truth it is beset on all sides, with enemies everywhere.
To the east of the Great Ming lies Fusang, the land of Wa!
Occult magic is widespread among the common folk of Wa, where sorcerers create “death warriors” for private battles. Its many sects are constantly at odds, using these warriors to outdo one another in ferocity!
In the end, three major sects emerged victorious. They continued to create death warriors to enhance their reputations and compete for status within their sects.
After unifying the country, the shogun launched a harsh crackdown on these sorcerers. His main aim was to stabilize the country and prevent them from continuing their work and creating even more powerful death warriors that might threaten the rule of the Tokugawa clan.
During the crackdown, the shogunate mobilized a large number of elite troops and sacrificed many samurai to suppress the sorcerers. In the end, the three major sects agreed to stop creating death warriors, and the war finally came to a halt.
The Ming Dynasty is going to die, so I will kill all the demons in the first part. This is the sequel, and it's also very interesting.
The last one was half-written, so this one is also finished. The plot of the previous movie was really good
Great writing, thank you to the author for your hard work
It's so beautiful, why don't you update it?
