The Stars Return: CEO Daddy, Come Pick Me Up

Adorable child plays matchmaker + groveling chase + mystery-solving

Five years ago, a carefully orchestrated scheme drove Fu Sihan and his beloved Shen Qingyi apart. Heartbroken, she disappeared without a trace. Five years later, Fu Sihan learned where she was. The moment they reunited amid the sea of flowers in Jinling, a little cutie who looked just like him broke through the awkward silence.

Shen Niannian hugged a bottle of soy sauce and looked up at him. “Uncle, who are you looking for?”

Inside the door was the woman he regretted losing and had searched for. Outside was the child whose existence he had never known.

When the truth came to light, Fu Sihan knelt on the stone pavement, eyes red. “Qingyi, I was so horribly wrong…”

Shen Qingyi gripped her daughter’s hand and stepped back. “Fu Sihan, we can’t go back.”

This is more than a sweet romance about a woman who runs away while pregnant. It is a profound journey about trust, growth, and healing. Forgiveness is not so simple: it’s about two broken souls learning, through love and the bond they share with a child, to cross their wounds and build a stronger home.
