Legends of the Yi Realm: Breaking the Heavenly Mystery

The story takes place in an imaginary ancient fantasy world, where the art of the I Ching is not merely a mysterious and unfathomable discipline, but a force that shapes the rise and fall of dynasties and the conflicts of the martial world. The imperial court has an Imperial Astronomy Bureau dedicated to studying astronomy and the calendar and predicting the fate of the dynasty. Its ranks are filled with masters skilled in the Eight Characters, Qimen Dunjia, and physiognomy. The great sects of the martial world also have practitioners versed in divination. They make plans for their sects or travel the martial world, using their arts to help or harm others. Divination has become a hidden weapon in the struggles of the martial world. Ordinary people, too, believe deeply in these arts and often seek out wandering fortune-tellers to read their fortunes and change their luck, allowing the I Ching to spread widely among the common folk.
