[Apocalypse + villainous fugitive + death rewind + paranormal resurgence + sequence awakening + ruthless + self-serving + no heroine + Twelve Talismans]
Ye Tianshang transmigrates to a world where paranormal forces have resurfaced. Order is scarce, the strong prey on the weak, and most people can only live within the city walls.
Ye Tianshang is Hailuo City's top genius. On Awakening Day, he awakens Sequence Zero: Internal Player.
[Internal Player: After dying, you can rewind to a certain point in the past.]
After awakening his sequence, Ye Tianshang should have had a bright future ahead of him. Instead, in the library of Hailuo High School, the campus beauty Yang Tiantian frames him. She wants his recommendation slot, so she deliberately sets him up.
With Yang Tiantian's powerful connections, Ye Tianshang faces years in prison and is expelled from Hailuo High School, while Yang Tiantian claims the recommendation slot that should have been his.
Consumed by hatred, Ye Tianshang kills himself on the spot. He returns to the moment Yang Tiantian framed him and ends the despicable woman's life with a single slash.
Afterward, Ye Tianshang wreaks havoc across Hailuo City, kills the people behind Yang Tiantian, then escapes the city with the stolen Dragon and Snake talismans.
From then on, Ye Tianshang becomes an A-rank fugitive in Hongguo and lives as a wanderer. He roams cities occupied by paranormal entities and establishes Hongguo's largest evil organization, “Nightfall.”
I hope that as stated in the introduction, Nightfall will not disappoint.
