Synopsis

The young man had been sleeping comfortably at home. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in Scaramouche's bedroom. More importantly, not long ago, he had pinned Scaramouche against the bathroom wall and kissed him, even telling him that his lips were surprisingly soft and his figure wasn't bad either, making him quite a specimen worth savoring. Scaramouche stared at him wide-eyed. If looks could kill, Mo Ran would already have been hacked into a thousand pieces. Worse still, Scaramouche was about to regain the ability to move, while he was just a helpless weakling with no strength to even wrangle a chicken... “Um, could we call a truce?” This is the story of an utterly ordinary good-for-nothing young man from the twenty-first century, living in a tiny rented apartment with perhaps nothing but a head full of dirty thoughts, who is forced to form bonds with the young men of Teyvat. Of course, he's also being hunted by a certain Harbinger, though the two of them gradually form a bond along the way. Here's what they think of this outsider. Scaramouche frowned coldly. “One of these days, I'm going to cut open that weird head of his and see what's inside!” Xiao was stunned by his existence. “I can hardly believe someone like him exists among mortals. What exactly have I been protecting all this time?” Kazuha muttered helplessly, “If the wind can bring even that guy here, I'd better focus on my swordsmanship.” Heizou asked in confusion, “There are some criminals I can't even be bothered to meet. I really have to ask, does he have VIP access to the prison?” Venti smiled wryly. “I can put up with everything else, but why did he spike the Dandelion Wine he gave me with sleeping pills?” Scaramouche: “You should be grateful. He gave me a love potion.”

The No. 1 Genshin Impact Fanfiction

This is the best Genshin Impact fanfic I've ever read. The plot is hardly angsty, and the writing is wonderfully layered.
