Undercover at the Jade Palace: I’m a Casanova at the Club

Undercover police officer Lu Yuan is ordered to infiltrate the Emerald Palace club, owned by Far East Group, posing as a carefree “romance guru” of a manager to expose the dark secrets of this empire of power and sex. He relies on a high-tech ring provided by the police, which can analyze microexpressions and distract people, but can also cause mortifying moments of social death, as he navigates among the crime syndicate’s key members.

Meanwhile, policewoman Chu Qing infiltrates the investigation disguised as a financial journalist. Neither knows the other’s true identity. They move from testing each other to working together, struggling to gather evidence amid a maze of luxury and danger. With the group’s deputy boss Zhao Tianxiong growing suspicious, finance director Bai Wei consumed by greed, and international special agent Cheng Xue shrouded in mystery, Lu Yuan has to dance on the edge of a knife.

Flirtation and danger go hand in hand. To complete his mission, he is forced to play the womanizer, using smooth talk to extract information and disguises to evade deadly threats, but he also finds himself sinking deeper into the lies. When the time comes to close the net, all the glamour crumbles, and the truth is far more brutal than anyone imagined...

This is a contest between justice and desire, and a battle for life and death as an undercover agent struggles to hold on to the light in the darkness.
