The World Kisses Me with Pain, So I’ll Repay It with Glory

This is not a story. It is a force!

Life once pushed her to the brink: divorced, poor, and raising two young children alone in a dark basement on the edge of the city. On stormy nights, she held her feverish daughter in her arms and clutched her frightened son’s hand, with no idea what tomorrow might bring.

But she never bowed her head, no matter how desperate things became. With rough hands that had washed countless dishes and a heart worn down by life yet growing ever more resilient, she pried open the iron wall of fate. From the kitchen of a restaurant to the hallways of an office building, from a part-time cleaner looked down upon by others to a respected entrepreneur, she waded through the mud and crushed the thorns beneath her feet, forging every hurt the world had dealt her into a step on the road to the top.

This is not only the true story of a single mother’s comeback from the depths, but also a passionate ode to love, dignity, and the fierce power of life. With her back turned, she tells everyone: The world may inflict pain upon me, but in the end, I will answer with glory.
