Xie Bi’an (not your traditional Black Impermanence) is the cold and formidable captain of the underworld’s Seventh Squad, with unmatched combat prowess. He strictly follows the rules but knows when to make exceptions, and views things in the living world with an ancient perspective.
Main story: Jiang Xiaoyu is fined 100,000 netherworld coins by Xie Bi’an for “disrupting the order between yin and yang” after an incident during a livestream. Forced to work off the debt as a temporary underworld employee and specially appointed agent, she teams up with him to solve supernatural cases. They gradually become entangled in a massive conspiracy to shatter the balance between yin and yang.
