Synopsis of Crystal Code Warriors
Crystal Code Warriors is a distinctive, large-scale original Chinese sci-fi animated series, carefully produced by Changzhou Galaxy Animation Development Co., Ltd. It premiered on July 26, 2010, and later aired on channels including CCTV's Children's Channel. The series has 130 episodes, each 12 minutes long. It was directed by Sun Derong and Qiao Feng, with Yang Yifan, Dong Shuang, Xiao Rui, and others serving as screenwriters.
The story is set in 2099, when Earth's environment is on the brink of collapse. Humanity transfers its sources of pollution to the asteroid B25, but this leads to the rise of the dark forces known as the Evil Star Legion. They seek to find the energy crystals on Earth so they can occupy and destroy the planet. During summer vacation, Long Yan's Supernatural Research Club is on a mission in the primitive Yaguli jungle when they're attacked by fireballs. They take refuge in a cave, where they discover four Crystal Code Machines left behind by a prophet and summon their own Crystal Code Beasts, beginning their journey to protect Earth.
The main team consists of Long Yan, Ya Qi, Mei Ke, and Ji Xiu. Long Yan, head of the Supernatural Research Club, is extremely confident, passionate, and responsible, and always charges into the front lines. Ya Qi is levelheaded and handsome, and calmly assesses the situation during battles. Mei Ke is the only girl in the group. Known as the “Little Encyclopedia,” she has a wealth of knowledge and provides the team with crucial information. Ji Xiu is a computer whiz whose outstanding technical skills have helped the team out of danger many times. Their Crystal Code Beast partners are Flame Dragon Beast, Tiger Beast, Unicorn Beast, and Black Tortoise Beast. Each has a unique evolution path, progressing from the Baby level to higher levels and growing ever more powerful in battle.
