Siheyuan: I'm the Head of the Courtyard, and I Just Want to Retire

Yi Zhonghai has been reborn. Having seen through the illusion that raising a child will secure his old age, all he wants this time is a peaceful retirement.

[Ding! Injustice detected in the courtyard. If the Host plays both sides, they will be punished by choking on water!]

[Ding! The Host must uphold righteousness. Good deeds earn merit, while bad deeds or standing by as someone dies will bring endless misfortune!]

To avoid choking on water and to retire in peace... Fine, I'll be the old man in charge!

The Third Master wants to take advantage of everyone in the courtyard? I'll measure everything down to the square centimeter and make him pay up!

[Ding! Upholding absolute fairness, merit +3!]

Xu Damao is scheming behind everyone's back? I'll make an “accidental” report, and he'll lose his job, get divorced, and end up with no descendants, all in one go!

[Ding! Sweeping away crooked practices in the courtyard, merit +20!]

Qin Huairu still wants to leech off Silly Zhu? I'll expose your entire history of leeching at the courtyard meeting and make you a complete social outcast!

[Ding! Saving a wayward youth and bringing about a happy match, merit +50!]

Looking at the merit-purchased rewards [Longevity] and [Freedom from All Illnesses], Yi Zhonghai spread his hands in resignation.

I really don't want to be the old man in charge, but the System is offering me too much!
