Siheyuan: The Cinema Is Empty After the Screening

Zhang Hao transmigrates into the world of *The Story of Yanxi Palace* and awakens a portable space. He doesn’t make much use of it at first. After graduating from Beijing Film Academy, he is assigned to the Beijing Film Studio. Zhang Hao starts plagiarizing movies and songs: *Fist of Fury*, *My Motherland*, and comedy routines like “The Origins of Japan” and “Songs of Heroes.” He also writes a poem: The Kunlun peaks rise in the east beneath the sun, while the Yellow River surges, nurturing splendid chapters. Five thousand years of civilization have endured, and our land stretches ninety thousand miles without end. Oracle bones record the deeds of the Shang and Zhou, while the Great Wall winds along, guarding the Han and Tang. Today we carry on the Kunpeng’s ambitions, as red flags unfurl across the eight corners of the world. He also creates the comedy routines *Leading and Supporting Actors* and *The Four Great Classics*, as well as the song *Back to the Han and Tang*. After the first New Year, he gets promoted and a raise. He secures the role of Ip Man. Invited by the garrison commander, he plagiarizes the song “When That Day Comes.” He goes to the Ministry of Education and plagiarizes “The Dynasties Song.” At the Ministry of Industry, he plagiarizes “We Workers.” Li Huaide comes asking for a song, so he plagiarizes “Mother.” Thanks to Zhang Hao, a huge amount of prize money comes in, but he doesn’t share any of it with the four courtyards. Xu Damao and the others also lose out on the Ip Man casting, so the people of the courtyard turn on Zhang Hao. He is pushed aside and transferred to the steel mill. Later, the political movement forces him to head south. He establishes his own company and makes a name for himself in Hong Kong. But the appearance of Ka Ka Building throws everything into disarray. Zhang Hao receives magical teachings in a dream. Zhang Hao masters the cultivation techniques. Then the *My Date with a Vampire* storyline begins.
