Cross-Dimensional Basketball: From Loser to Legend

Lin Ye, an ordinary basketball enthusiast bound to the “Basketball Evolution System,” opens his eyes to find he has transmigrated into the world of Kuroko's Basketball, at Seirin High, where he is a fringe player who can barely hold onto a spot on the bench. Here, the Generation of Miracles have unbelievable skills, and the Zone offers breakthroughs beyond human limits. He has plenty of passion, but fumbles his dribbling and can't hit the rim with his shots. Even in the team's tryouts, Kagami Taiga crushes him, leaving him scoreless. The System never gives him a golden finger. It only unlocks replay training after a crushing defeat. After Aomine knocks him down three times with his unpredictable drives, he earns special training in dynamic vision. After Murasakibara's impenetrable defense shatters his confidence, he begins to grasp the fundamentals of physical play. After Akashi's Emperor Eye predicts his every move, he finally understands the true meaning of court awareness. He falls and gets back up on the Winter Cup court, rising from spectator to starter, from imitating the Miracles to breaking through into the Zone. At last, he takes down Akashi with a game-winning shot and becomes the strongest player in the world of Kuroko's Basketball. Before he can enjoy his glory, the System throws him into Shohoku High in *Slam Dunk*. His superhuman techniques suddenly stop working. Against Sendoh's control of the pace and Maki Shinichi's overpowering physicality, he cannot even handle Hanamichi Sakuragi's wild leaps. Once again, he has to start from scratch: practicing low-dribble moves to withstand contact, learning to pace his energy for the full game, and sharpening his tactical adaptability through losses in the prefectural tournament. At last, in the national tournament against Sannoh Industry, he draws on the experience he has built through two lives of failure and ends the game with a game-winning shot. Only when he lifts the MVP trophy does he understand: a legend is simply someone who turns every fall into a step upward.
