Langlang Mountain: The Rift Between the Four Realms

[Everyday Life Among Demons + Brawls Across the Four Realms + Little Demons Fighting to Survive + A Lighthearted Ensemble Comedy]

Langlang Mountain, a lawless borderland ignored by the Celestial Court, the dynasty, the demon strongholds, and the immortal sects alike.

Zhu Dazhi, a little demon tasked with patrolling the mountain, has only one lifelong dream: earn enough merit to transfer to the kitchen and leave his grueling job behind.

But on the night a “shooting star” falls from the sky, a fragment of a sentient jade strikes him, unexpectedly granting him the ability to “see the lingering shades of heroes”!

From then on, he is forced to glimpse the secrets of the Four Realms and gets caught up in a chaotic struggle intertwining the Celestial Court, the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, and Dream of the Red Chamber.

His only choice is to team up with his old pals from Langlang Mountain and make their debut:

The toad demon “Brother Gua” is in charge of keeping everyone’s courage up,

the weasel demon “A Huang” is an expert at making a run for it,

and the crow demon “Blackbeak” specializes in slacking off.

■ On one side, the four great powers scheme against each other, and heroes keep making their appearances;

■ On the other, little demons muddle through their workdays, with teammates getting one another into trouble and saving one another’s lives;

■ They have barely any real skills and talk a lot of nonsense, yet they insist on protecting this mountain and uncovering the earth-shattering secret behind the Four Realms.
