Back to 1960: Hunting in the Siheyuan

Chen Feng, a master of Chinese martial arts, unexpectedly transmigrates into a parallel world of Love in the Courtyard, becoming a teenage hunter who has lost his parents in a northern mountain village in the 1960s. Faced with a bare-bones home and a hungry older sister, younger brother, and younger sister, he resolutely takes on the burden of supporting his family.

His superb Bajiquan skills from his previous life become the foundation of his survival, while his extraordinary hunting skills provide for his family. He takes on the village bully with his fists and hunts fierce beasts with his bow, gradually leading his family out of their impoverished mountain village and into the Forty-Nine City, a place of both opportunity and challenge.

In this extraordinary era, in a courtyard full of warmth and hardship, he repays his benefactors with everything he has and tenderness, while striking back at his enemies with thunderous force and never yielding an inch.

See how a master of Bajiquan uses his fists and hunting bow to protect his loved ones and carve out a place for himself in the surging tide of history, writing a legendary tale of his own!
