Imprisoned by Her: The Grand Princess’s Possessive Love

I am the most revered princess in the empire, yet I disguised myself as a man and slipped out of the palace, only to be ambushed.

On a stormy night, I collapsed outside a farm girl's thatched hut. Her fingers were gentle, almost dreamlike.

“Don't be afraid,” she said, looking into my eyes, so clear and pure. “Does it hurt?”

Only later did I learn that she had a fiancé who had gone to the capital to sit the imperial examinations.

When word arrived that the faithless scholar had married into a powerful family, I tore away every last disguise.

I locked her in the deepest dungeon of the princess's residence.

“Your Highness, this is treason!” she cried, pushing away the finery I had given her.

I tightened my hand around her throat, then let go. “Then run. The whole capital is watched by my spies.”

In the end, she went three days without food. I only smiled as I unfolded a letter.

“See? Your family is still waiting for your fiancé to pass the exams and support them.”
