The Moon Crosses the Western Kingdom

Ling Yue, a cultivator from another world, fell through a tear in space into the Warring States period where Inuyasha lived. When she first arrived, her spiritual power was sluggish. But after sensing the Shikon Jewel shards and encountering low-level demons, she quickly began adapting to her new surroundings, and unexpectedly met the silver-haired noble, Sesshomaru.

At first, they watched each other warily. Then the shadow of Naraku forced them to travel together for a while. Ling Yue witnessed Sesshomaru’s tenderness when he used Tenseiga for Rin, and their views on strength and protection gradually began to intertwine. As Naraku’s schemes escalated, they went from fighting separately to standing back to back. Their understanding deepened, and unspoken feelings began to stir.

When Sesshomaru awakened Bakusaiga to protect Rin, Ling Yue also had to choose between returning home and staying by his side. In the final battle, she used her cultivation abilities to help everyone fight Naraku, and she and Sesshomaru risked their lives to protect each other. At last, their feelings became clear.

After the dust settled, Ling Yue gave up her chance to return to her own world and went with Sesshomaru to the Western Lands. She earned the respect of the demon world through her strength, accompanied him on his rounds of the territory, and watched over Rin as she grew. In the long years of a demon’s life, she finally found where her heart belonged.
