Modern high school student Lu Xiaozhang stayed up late playing Fantasy Westward Journey. When he woke up, he had transmigrated into the Nine-Ringed Monk's Staff in Tang Seng's hands!
He couldn't run or jump, but he could talk back, see through demons, and defend his master. He came with a whole arsenal of overpowered abilities:
He could warn of danger, withstand magical weapons, freeze a great river, transform into a golden bridge, tell the real Monkey King from the fake, and even extinguish Samadhi True Fire with a single click.
From then on, the pilgrimage party's whole dynamic changed:
He backed Wukong up in fights, showed Tang Seng the way when he got lost, whacked Bajie on the head when he slacked off, and helped Sha Seng carry the load. Others risked their lives on the pilgrimage, but Tang Seng had his monk's staff in hand and the whole world at his command!
No turning evil, no tormenting the protagonist, no melodrama.
A thrilling, hilarious ride from start to finish, packed with high-energy moments and fresh twists.
He's Tang Seng's most dependable support, the strongest cheat on the journey west, and a staff that only wants to clock out in peace but ends up carrying the whole team: the Nine-Ringed Monk's Staff!
“Don't be afraid, Master. With just me, a monk's staff, I can get you all the way to Spirit Mountain!”
