Stay Low, Little Doctor Consort, as You Venture into the Imperial Palace

Hu Sisi, the daughter of a minor official, is forced to enter the palace selection. Drawing on bits and pieces of modern medical knowledge from her previous life, she becomes a "half-baked miracle doctor." She plans to keep her head down and stay alive, but by a twist of fate, she saves a palace maid on the brink of death and arouses the Consort's suspicions. When the Imperial Hospital declares the Empress's "strange illness" incurable, Sisi takes a risk and uses a crude microscope to discover traces of parasites. The Emperor is overjoyed, but she is thrust into the spotlight under accusations of practicing "sorcery."
