Just One Hug

Depressed Girl vs. Cold School Bully Lin Qingyu was once a science prodigy at a top high school. After enduring years of suffocating pressure and control from her family, she developed moderate anxiety. For the college entrance exams, she deliberately earned “149 in Chinese and zero in the other five subjects,” an extreme result that let her escape her parents' control and come alone to Qinghe University, a third-tier college. There, she meets Lu Yan, who seems like a rebellious, handsome bad boy but is actually sensitive and warmhearted. A prominent figure on campus, he comes from a wealthy family but never flaunts it, and co-owns a milk tea shop with his friends. At first, it is just a chance glance that draws his attention to the girl who is always alone, quiet as a painting. Their story begins with a misunderstanding. Lin Qingyu inadvertently offends the school bully's girlfriend and is cornered in the classroom corridor. Lu Yan happens to appear and comes to her rescue, but she mistakes him for a troublemaker and avoids him from then on. Lu Yan has never encountered a girl who dodges him before. His frustration gives way to curiosity, and then to an involuntary fascination with her.
