(Fictional setting! Parallel world! Please don't read this as referring to anyone in real life!)
Even in a parallel world, production must go on.
Chen Dali is the youngest production team leader in Hongshan Village.
But his workforce is a bunch of demons.
The weasel accountant is a whiz at calculations, the donkey demon can plow thirty mu of land with a kick, and the pangolin digs a water channel overnight...
Under the Ancestral Dragon's seal, he uses a Demon Workers' Register to get every demon in the village working around the clock. They rack up work points at an astonishing rate and contribute their share to production!
But Chen Dali is in a real hurry:
If his merit points don't reach one hundred thousand, he'll drop dead at the age of twenty-two. And if the seal isn't broken, he can't even leave the village!
Then, of all things, a young educated woman sent to the countryside takes an interest in his vital yang essence...
By day, she wants to mate with him to boost production. At midnight, she sneaks off to drain his yang energy, and she won't even spare his underwear!
Chen Dali grips his talisman-engraved dirt gun and roars, “Cut it out! I'm just ten thousand work points short!”
If she keeps draining him, he's afraid he won't live to see the seal broken. That thousand-year-old willow tree spirit might squeeze him dry first...
Hongshan Village log, final entry: Demons are fellow workers who fight side by side, and merit comes from every drop of sweat!
P.S. A wacky, funny period monster-hunting story. Whoever adds it to their collection first is the coolest.
