Lemon Candy and Programming Poetry

Su Wang enrolls at Mingcheng University and is surprised to discover at the freshmen orientation ceremony that the physics department’s representative is Lu Yan, the boy who made her heart flutter in high school. Memories from three years ago come rushing back. During a citywide exam in her sophomore year, she fainted from low blood sugar. Lu Yan, a stranger at the time, gave her candy and warm water. When he looked down at her, sunlight fell across his eyelashes, turning the moment into a secret she kept close to her heart. - Su Wang deliberately avoids Lu Yan, yet they keep running into each other by sheer coincidence: they take the same elective, sit beside each other in the library, and share equipment in the lab. She pretends not to care while secretly collecting details about his preferences, such as how he only drinks one particular brand of mineral water and taps the desk when solving physics problems. - Lu Yan seems to appear beside Su Wang by chance: he picks up a book she drops, reminds her when an elective assignment is due, and “happens to be passing by” with a cup of hot coffee when she’s up late working on a project. Su Wang thinks it’s all coincidence, but inside, she keeps going back and forth.
